What it does it more or less randomly remove old files from you backup storage, no matter when the files were deleted. Their current solution for cleaning up called "periodic cleanup" is totally useless and uncontrolled. It also lags a basic feature like retention time for you backups, so you backup storage keeps growing (which of course might be in the interest of iDrive sales team). When backup errors happen (which they do sometimes in most systems), the app lags a proper log file and you need to create a support ticket with debug information just to find out, which files failed during the backup. For the application itself, it does have a couple of defects. Even then, their replies are lacking answers to problems or suggested workarounds. Often, it makes you wonder if they ever read the actual question until they are explicitly asked to do so. ![]() It is extremely impersonal and always defaults to canned responses. ![]() General fair value for money when looking at storage/features/price.
